Fuel tanker overturns at Union Pacific rail yard in central Spring

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A fuel tanker overturned in a crash early Wednesday at the Union Pacific Railroad Lloyd Yard in central Spring, according to OnScene.TV.

Emergency crews responded to the scene off Aldine Westfield Road, near Hardy Toll Road, shortly before 1:40 a.m.

The circumstances behind the incident were unclear, but authorities said the rolled tanker was found to be leaking diesel fuel as a result of the crash.

No details on any serious injuries have been released as of this writing.
