Frisco – Child Struck by Car on Lebanon Road

A pedestrian was transported to a hospital after getting struck by a vehicle on Lebanon Road in Frisco, Monday morning.
Just before 8:00 a.m., Frisco first responders received a notification about an auto versus pedestrian accident on Lebanon Road near Ruth Borchardt Drive. How the crash happened remains undetermined at this time but authorities said the child was hit by a passing vehicle, leaving him with unspecified injuries. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital where he received proper medical treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities did not release information about the driver of the vehicle. Whether or not he remained at the scene was not confirmed.
The Frisco Police Department has yet to determine liability as the investigation is underway.
