Four injured in overnight wreck in the Galleria area

HOUSTON, TX – Two police officers and two civilians were hurt in an overnight wreck in Houston’s Galleria area, KHOU 11 reports.

An HPD unit driven by two officers drove through an intersection near 5900 Fairdale Lane when it hit a white Porsche turning onto Fountainview. The driver in the Porsche reportedly ran a stop sign and failed to yield the right-of-way to the patrol car.

Both officers in the cruiser and two civilians in the Porsche were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.
