Fort Worth – Woman Struck and Killed by Car on Normandale St

Last Thursday, an auto vs pedestrian crash on Normandale Street caused the death of one person, according to a local news source.
Initial investigation shows that the incident happened in the 9100 block of Normandale St. A woman was reportedly walking from her apartment when she was hit by a passing vehicle. The driver of the vehicle told investigators that he was not able to see the woman as he was making a turn.
The pedestrian, identified only as a female, sustained fatal injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries last Sunday.
Whether or not the driver of the vehicle was injured was not confirmed.
The crash is under investigation by the Fort Worth Police Department.
