Fort Worth – Salvador Palafox Struck and Killed on North Freeway Service Road

The Fort Worth Police Department has identified the victim who died involved in a vehicle collision on North Freeway Service Road.
The fatality was identified as 66-year-old Salvador Palafox.
At around 3:00 p.m., local troopers responded to North Freeway frontage road, south of Basswood Boulevard, following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. According to initial reports, Salvador Palafox was seen standing/walking near his vehicle on Interstate 35 near Los Osos Drive when he was struck by another vehicle. The impact of the crash seriously injured Palafox, killing him on scene.
No one else was injured.
Local officials did not confirm if the driver who struck Palafox remained at the scene. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
