Fort Worth – Pedestrian Crash Killed One Person on Gardenia Dr

A fatal car collision caused the death of a little girl on Gardenia Drive, Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to the 3000 block of Gardenia Drive after receiving a call reporting a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle just after 3:00 p.m. According to the report, an undescribed vehicle reportedly hit a one-year-old girl. The circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear at this time but it was determined that it happened after a possible domestic argument.
When local paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a girl with life-threatening injuries. She was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the suspect vehicle were taken into custody for questioning. No citations have been issued as the investigation is still ongoing.
The Fort Worth Police Department is leading the investigation.
