Fort Worth – Michael Corrigan Struck By Hit-and-run Vehicle on MLK Freeway

A pedestrian collision involving a hit-and-run vehicle caused the death of a 27-year-old man on Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway, early Thursday morning.
The victim was recently identified as Michael Corrigan, 27. He was walking near the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway when he was struck by a vehicle.
According to initial reports, the crash took place when Corrigan walked in the roadway and into the path of a passing car. Details surrounding the accident remains unknown at this time but police said that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the collision.
The Fort Worth Police Department is still working to identify the hit and run driver and locate the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding the case should contact said authorities.
