Fort Worth – Man Killed on Motorcycle Crash East Allen St

A Fort Worth resident was pronounced deceased following a motorcycle accident at the intersection of East Allen Street, south of downtown.
At around 10:00 p.m., a crash was reported in the 600 block of East Allen Street. A man was operating a bike along the southbound lanes when it collided with a vehicle that was traveling along the South Freeway service road. The motorcycle rider suffered from significant injuries and was immediately transported to John Peter Smith Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving measures. He has yet to be identified by local authorities.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was not hurt.
Area investigators said that the motorcyclist ran through a red light prior to the crash.
No charges have been made at this time.
