Fort Worth – 5 Injured in a DUI Collision on Interstate 30

The Fort Worth is investigating an auto crash involving a drunk driver on Interstate 30 last week, Thursday.
An initial investigation indicates that the incident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on I-30 near Green Oaks Road. An undescribed vehicle was seen heading east in westbound traffic when it collided head-on with a van. It then crashed into a semi-truck.
Three occupants in the van sustained unknown injuries from the force of the impact. They were all taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Their identifications were withheld pending notification of their next of kin. Fortunately, the driver of the semi-truck was not hurt.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was taken to jail for questioning. He was suspected of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
