Forney – Fatal Crash in Farm to Market Road 740

Forney law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle collision on Farm to Market Road 740, Monday afternoon.
At around 4:30 p.m., police responded to FM 740 to assist in a car accident involving two vehicles. When they arrived at the scene, they found two vehicles that had collided with each other. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it responding officers confirmed that one person was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two more occupants sustained serious injuries and were both taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their condition, as well as identification, remains undisclosed at this time.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress. Anyone who has witnessed the incident is encouraged to get in contact with Forney police.
