Flower Mound – Motorcyclist Died Following Vehicle Accident on Long Prairie Rd

A motorcycle accident on Long Prairie Road resulted in the death of one person, Sunday evening.
Just before 7:00 p.m., responding officers were dispatched to 3900 Long Prairie Road following reports of a crash. Initial reports show that a motorcycle had been traveling along the roadway when it collided with a Jeep Liberty. The rider of the motorcycle sustained significant injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. He was only identified as a 22-year-old motorcyclist.
Police said the Jeep was attempting to make a turn to Long Prairie when the accident took place. No one in the Jeep suffered from injuries.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
