HOUSTON, TX – A five-vehicle collision stalled traffic on U.S. 59 on this afternoon of Friday, November 20, the Houston Police Department reports.
Major Crash/Freeway Closure: Vehicular Crimes Division is enroute to a 5 car major located at 16900 US 59 FWY OB near Rankin. Expect delays and seek alternative routes. #houtraffic CC5

The cars collided near 16900 U.S. 59 near Rankin around 4:56 p.m. It is not known what led to the incident or if anyone was hurt.
