Firefighter injured, multiple people displaced in Westpark Dr apartment blaze

HOUSTON, TX – A firefighter was injured in a blaze that damaged several apartment units and forced several people from their homes Saturday, according to KPRC2.
The blaze broke out in the 10100 block of Westpark Drive at 12:10 a.m. and was tamed less than ten minutes after firefighting crews arrived at the scene.
A firefighter was taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion. There were no other injuries reported from the blaze.
Four apartments received fire, water, and/or smoke damage and caused multiple people to be displaced.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the fire at this time.
