Fire crews respond to hit-and-run crash on Bissonet St near Alief

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A major hit-and-run collision was reported late Wednesday morning near Beltway 8 in southwest Houston’s Alief community, according to City of Houston.

Houston police and firefighters responded to the scene at 10498 Bissonet Street, just west of the beltway, at approximately 10:42 a.m.

Details are limited, but authorities listed an “FSRA” incident in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party after a serious accident resulting in likely injuries or death.
