Fiery semi-truck wreck closes two lanes off IH-10 E in NE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A semi-truck burst into flames Friday morning after a collision along the East Freeway near Houston’s Pleasantville Area, according to Houston Transtar.
The accident occurred on the two eastbound frontage road lanes at McCarty Street, or U.S. Highway 90. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 9:46 a.m.
No other details have been released on the circumstances behind the incident, but no other vehicles appear to have been involved.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously hurt.
