Fannin County – Driver Hospitalized Following Major Crash on US 82

A vehicle accident involving a concrete truck took place on US 82 near County Road 1396 and County Road 2293, Wednesday afternoon.
According to initial reports, local authorities received a notification reporting a vehicle accident at around 2:00 p.m. on US Highway 82, just west of Honey Grove. A concrete truck was backing up from a construction zone in the main lane of the highway when it collided with an undescribed vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, whose identity has not been released, sustained various injuries as a result of the collision. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received proper medical treatment. His condition remains unknown at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
Fannin County law enforcement officials arrived at the scene to investigate the case further. No charges have been made as of this writing.
