EMS crews respond to major crash on Kirkwood Rd in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A major vehicle accident was reported Wednesday afternoon near a residence in west Houston’s Briarforest area, according to City of Houston.

The collision occurred at 1611 South Kirkwood Road shortly before 2:42 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel all responded to the scene.

Authorities indicated a “major” but “non-fatal” crash resulting in an “EMS event.”

No further information has been disclosed on the parties involved.
