EMS crews respond to major collision on N Shepherd Dr in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A major vehicle accident was reported late Tuesday morning in northwest Houston’s Acres Homes neighborhood, according to City of Houston.
The crash occurred at 7601 North Sherpherd Drive, near the West Little York Road intersection, shortly before 10:19 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the incident, but Houston police, firefighters and EMS personnel all had responded to the scene by 11:55 a.m.
Authorities indicated a serious collision resulting in an “EMS event,” suggesting injuries to at least one person.
No details have been disclosed on the condition of those involved, but Houston police said no fatalities were reported.
