EMS crews respond to collision on W Rankin Rd in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A serious vehicle accident was reported late Wednesday morning in north Houston’s Cranbrook Augusta neighborhood, according to City of Houston.

Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to the scene at 298 West Rankin Road, near the Kuykendahl Road intersection, at about 11:07 a.m.

Authorities listed a “major” crash resulting in an “EMS event,” indicating likely injuries to at least one person.

No further details have been shared on the parties involved, but as of this writing, Houston police said no fatalities were reported in the event.
