Employees sustain burns after truck crashes into food truck in northwest Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Employees sustained burns after a truck crashed into a food truck in northwest Harris County on Friday night, according to KHOU 11.
The driver of a pickup truck reportedly ran a red light on Stuebner Airline Road around 10 p.m., hitting a nearby curb. The Ford then crashed into the Main Chick food truck.
One of the employees inside fell into a fryer full of hot cooking oil, while two other employees were burned on their arms and neck. All three individuals were recently released from the hospital.
The driver responsible was ticketed for running a red light.
