Elmo – Rollover Collision on FM 429

The Elmo Police Department has yet to identify the victims who got injured in a fatal vehicle accident in Farm to Market 429, Tuesday night.
At around 6:40 p.m., local firefighters were notified of a collision which took place on FM 429 near Interstate 20. When emergency crews responded to the scene, they found a vehicle that’s been engulfed in flames. Police said that three people had to be extricated from the wreckage, as per authorities. Mutual aid was also requested from the College Mound Fire Department (CMFD).
All three victims sustained non-life threatening as a result of the collision. Their conditions have yet to be released.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the stalled car appeared to have rear-ended an SUV, pushing it to the shoulder of the highway.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is leading the investigation. No citations have been issued at this time.
