Elderly woman dies following early November wreck on the South Sam Houston Parkway West

HOUSTON, TX – An elderly woman died following an early November wreck on the South Sam Houston Parkway West, the officers at the Houston Police Department report.
According to a press release from the HPD, a silver Toyota RAV4 and a white Dodge pickup truck towing a black Peterbuilt 220 truck were traveling near 11800 South Sam Houston Parkway West when the Dodge turned onto a private driveway. The driver of the Toyota, a 77-year-old woman, lost control of her car and crashed into the Peterbuilt truck attached to the Dodge.
She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and died of her injuries on November 20. The driver of the Dodge was not hurt.
