El Paso – Woman Killed in Car Crash on Alabama Street

A woman died following a deadly vehicle accident on Alabama Street last week.

According to police reports, the incident took place at the 6500 block of Alabama Street, just before 11:00 a.m. A vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when it collided with another car at the intersection. The impact of the crash left the driver of the first car with serious injuries and died at the scene. She was later identified as 71-year-old Lilian Arrington. Meanwhile, the driver of the second vehicle, 19-year-old Xzjha Stevens, was not hurt.

Based on the initial investigation, Arrington failed to yield the right of way which may have caused the crash. No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
