The two victims who died in a car collision on Hercules Avenue have been identified by El Paso law enforcement officials, Friday.
At around 5:00 p.m., a vehicle was going at an unsafe speed when it struck a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz that was traveling along 4000 Hercules Avenue. The force of the impact caused the Cruz to spin, drift off the roadway, and ended up crashing into a tree. The speeding vehicle then veered into the opposing lanes where it collided head-on with a 1995 Ford Aerostar. The Ford driver and another occupant in the vehicle died from the injuries sustained from the impact. They were identified as 76-year-old Pascual Garcia and passenger, 72-year-old Carolina Garcia-Amaya.
Meanwhile, two occupants in the Chevrolet were both given medical treatment for their injuries that were considered to be non-life-threatening. They have yet to be determined.
