El Paso – Two Injured in Car Accident on S Desert Boulevard

At least two people were sent to a local hospital following a speeding crash on South Desert Boulevard in El Paso, Thursday.
According to the initial investigation, the incident took place at the 6400 block of S Desert Blvd. A 2008 Hummer H-3 was traveling along the roadway when it sideswiped a vehicle that was going on an unsafe speed. Police said the second car was attempting to pass another vehicle when the crash happened. The force of the impact caused the Hummer to roll over. Its driver suffered from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the nearest hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately disclosed.
Another occupant sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the other driver was not injured.
The El Paso police are investigating the case.
