El Paso- Tractor-Trailer Accident on Interstate 10 near Mesa Street

At least one person was sent to a hospital after getting into a car accident on Interstate 10 near Mesa Street, a local news source reports.
According to reports, the wreck which took place Monday morning involved an 18-wheeler truck. El Paso emergency crews responded to the scene and assist one person injured from the collision. They rushed the victim to a hospital with minor injuries. His identification and condition have not been disclosed.
Based on the initial investigation, the 18-wheeler truck was traveling along the highway when it slammed into a barrier near the on-ramp. The impact of the collision left the truck completely disabled.
What led the crash is yet to be determined as investigators continue to gather information.
