El Paso – Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Car on Canam Highway

At least one person was sent to the hospital after getting hit by a car on Texas 375 Loop, Tuesday.

Last December 24th, El Paso local officials received a call reporting a car accident involving a pedestrian on the Texas 375 Loop. Initial investigation shows that a man was trying to cross the highway when a passing car struck him. He sustained undisclosed injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital for further medical attention. His condition was not immediately released.

Whether or not the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene remains unclear at this time.

The El Paso Police Department was requested at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. An investigation is underway.
