El Paso – Pedestrian Collision on Interstate 10 Kills 1

Last Sunday morning, a pedestrian accident caused the death of a man on Interstate 10, according to a local news source.
At around 4:40 a.m., an 18-year-old man was seen crossing I-10 East near Yarbrough Drive. A few moments later, a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country that was traveling along the highway struck him, leaving him fatally injured. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, he was already lifeless.
Authorities later identified the pedestrian as Isaiah David Infante 18-year-old. The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 29-year-old Martin Medel, continued on driving but went back to the scene of the accident. Police said that Medel exited the interstate and drive back around to avoid driving in reverse.
No charges have been made as of this writing.
An investigation is still in progress.
