El Paso – Man Died Following Semi-Truck Crash on Interstate 10

El Paso law enforcement officials have yet to release the name of the person who was killed after a deadly car crash on Interstate 10, Wednesday morning.
At around 12:53 a.m., DPS troopers were requested to assist in a major vehicle accident in the stretch of I-10 under the Downtown overpass, near the Mesa exit ramp. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 2019 Freightliner semi-truck facing eastbound in the westbound lanes beside a damaged pillar.
How the crash took place remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that at least one person was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. He was later identified as Harjot Singh Goraya, 32.
No other injuries were reported.
Local investigators are still investigating the cause of the accident.
