El Paso – Auto Collision on Ellerthorpe Avenue Exit

A major crash on US Highway 54 resulted in injuries, Monday, according to a local news source. Police said the incident took place last March 23rd at around 11:00 a.m.
Further details surrounding the collision remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that at least two people needed immediate medical treatment. They were also taken to a local hospital where they were listed in an unknown condition. No identification was released pending notification of the victims’ next of kin.
A portion of the highway near Ellerthorpe Avenue Exit was temporarily closed for clearing. Area investigators also arrived at the scene to gather evidence about the case.
An investigation is underway.
