El Paso – 21-year-old Man Killed in Speeding Collision on McCombs St

A 21-year-old man was pronounced deceased after getting involved in a single-vehicle accident on McCombs Street, Monday afternoon.
According to initial reports, the incident took place on McCombs St near Railroad Drive at around 4:45 p.m. A vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when it went out of control and crashed into a light pole. The impact of the crash left the driver of the vehicle with serious injuries. Unfortunately, he had succumbed to his injuries when the paramedics arrived on scene.
Authorities later identified the victim as 21-year-old Kevin Guardado Barraza.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed during the time of the accident.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
