Ector County – Odessa Motorcyclist Killed in a Crash on North Tripp Avenue

The 54-year-old rider who died after getting into a collision with a vehicle on North Tripp Avenue, last Thursday afternoon, has been named.

Authorities identified the victim as Timmy J. Daniels, 54. He is a resident of Odessa.

Just before 5:00 p.m., DPS troopers received a call reporting a crash between a Nissan Murano and a motorcycle. How the crash actually happened is yet to be determined by local police but it was confirmed that Murano was heading north on North Tripp Avenue near Swan Road when it crashed into a motorcycle that was traveling along the southbound lane. The impact of the crash killed the rider of the motorcycle, Timmy Daniels. He died at the scene. Meanwhile, a passenger in the Murano was sent to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His identity has not yet been determined.
