Ector County – Man Died after Hitting Mobile Home on US 385

Local authorities have yet to release the identity of the man who died in a fatal car accident on US 385 in Odessa.
According to reports, DPS troopers were dispatched on US 385 to assist in a car accident that took place just after 2:00 a.m. Police said that an undescribed vehicle was heading north on the highway when, for reasons that had not been determined, it drifted to the southbound lanes, hit a curb, and crashed into a fence. The said car came to rest after striking a mobile home nearby.
The driver of the vehicle, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, died from the injuries he sustained from the crash.
No other parties were involved.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the victim was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
