Dumas – Friday Crash on FM 2203 Killed One Person

At least one person was pronounced dead following a vehicle collision on Farm to Market 2203 Road in Moore County, last Friday afternoon.
According to a local news source, an 18-wheeler truck was seen traveling along the northbound lanes of FM 2203 prior to the accident. As the truck driver approaches the intersection near Farm to Market 119, it struck the driver side of another vehicle that pulled in front of him. The impact of the collision left significant damages on the vehicle. Its driver, identified only as a 24-year-old woman, suffered from life-threatening injuries following the crash. She was pronounced dead by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
Authorities did not release the condition of the driver of the truck.
The crash remains under investigation by Dumas Police Department. Anyone with information about the incident should call the authorities.
