Dumas – 24-year-old Woman Dies in Collision with A Truck

Dumas law enforcement officials have released the name of the person who died in a deadly truck collision on Farm to Market 2203 Road, Friday afternoon.
According to reports, 24-year-old Luz Lopez was driving a vehicle on FM 2203 when she collided with a semi-truck that had stopped for a red light at the intersection of Farm to Market 119 Road. The semi-truck hit the driver side of Lopez’s vehicle, leaving her seriously injured. She was pronounced dead by emergency crews who responded to the scene of the accident.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck did not sustain any injury. His identification has not been released at this time.
Investigators were requested at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is still in progress.
