Dublin – Comanche Man Died Following Head-on Crash on Hwy 6

A driver was pronounced deceased after colliding with a truck on Highway 6, four miles east of Dublin, Monday night.
At around 10:00 p.m., local troopers responded to the eastbound lane of Highway 6 after receiving a call reporting a crash. According to the report, a 2013 GMC Terrain was seen heading east on the highway when, suddenly, it drifted into the opposing traffic and collided head-on with a Freightliner truck-tractor that was heading in the opposite direction.
The driver of the GMC, identified only as a 40-year-old Comanche man, was killed on the scene. The driver of the Freightliner, identified only as a 36-year-old Houston man, was rushed to Texas Health Hospital in Stephenville where he was listed in unknown condition.
What caused the GMC driver to cross the center line is yet to be determined by area investigators.
The Dublin Police Department continues to investigate the case.
