Dublin – Adam Cody Proa Killed in Fatal Head-on Crash on Hwy 6

One person was killed while another was sent to a hospital after a deadly two-vehicle accident on Highway 6, Monday night.
According to initial reports, a 2013 GMC Terrain was seen heading east of Highway 6, four miles east of Dublin, when it drifted into the opposing lanes where it collided with a Freightliner truck-tractor head-on. The impact of the crash killed the driver of the GMC on scene. He was later identified as Adam Cody Proa. Meanwhile, the driver of the Freightliner sustained injuries from the force of the impact. He was transported to Texas Health Hospital where he was listed in unknown condition.
Authorities later identified the truck driver as Mario Alfaro, 36, of Houston.
The Dublin Police Department is still determining the reason why Proa veered into oncoming traffic.
