Driver sustains minor injuries in police chase collision

HOUSTON, TX – A driver sustained minor injuries in a police chase collision on the night of Saturday, January 9, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The HCSO’s Street Racing Task Force attempting to pull over a street racer near the Katy Freeway’s intersection with Fry, but the driver fled. Eventually, the driver crashed their vehicle and was arrested by authorities.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
