Driver slams into gas station off IH-45 in Houston’s Northside Village

HOUSTON, TX — A woman was medically evaluated early Saturday after crashing her car into the side of a Shell gas station in Houston’s Northside Village, reports FOX26 Houston.
The accident occurred in the 2900 block of the North Freeway at approximately 1:30 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the event, but according to Houston Police Department, the woman was driving a red Toyota 4Runner when it crashed into the station.
Medics evaluated the driver at the scene, but she declined transport to a hospital, suggesting minor injuries.
Authorities confirmed no one else was hurt and said the driver was not found to have been intoxicated at the time.
