Driver seriously injured after running red light

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was seriously injured after running a red light on North Lake Houston Parkway on the night of Wednesday, June 17, The Houston Chronicle reports.
A red pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection of Lockwood Road and North Lake Houston Parkway at approximately 9 p.m. and crashed into a white truck. The force of the crash threw the driver from the red truck.
He was transported to the hospital by LifeFlight for head injuries. Authorities say the driver of the white truck was not injured.
