Driver killed in collision with bridge pillar in downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed in a collision with a bridge pillar in downtown Houston on the morning of Friday, September 25, according to KHOU 11.

The driver cut across an intersection near 500 West Dallas Street and crashed into a bridge pillar on the interstate. They were declared dead by emergency personnel. While authorities believe the victim was unfamiliar with the area, they are working to determine if intoxication contributed to the accident.
