PORTER, TX – A man was killed Friday night when he slammed head-on into a pickup truck in southeast Porter, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The 34-year-old man was speeding eastbound on East Martin Drive without his headlights on when he drove his Acura into an oncoming Ford F-350 at Wayne Road at about 9:20 p.m. The force of the collision was enough to push the pickup truck backwards.
The Acura’s driver died at the scene. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack has ordered an autopsy.
We do not know whether the pickup’s driver was injured at this time.
