Driver killed after crashing into tree in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after his vehicle crashed into a tree in southwest Houston yesterday.

According to a report by Texas Breaking, the crash took place at about 4:15 p.m. when a great sedan slammed into the tree in the 5500 block of West Fuqua Street.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld at this time.

The cause of the crash is unclear.
