Driver killed after collision with tree on East Crosstimbers Street

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed after a collision with a tree on East Crosstimbers Street on Sunday morning, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was driving a silver Toyota Tacoma near 700 East Crosstimbers Street around 4:50 a.m. when he lost control of his car, crashing into a wooden light pole and a tree.

Emergency responders declared the man dead at the scene. The victim was the only individual inside the car.

The incident remains under investigation.
