Driver injured after tractor-trailer crashes off I-610 ramp

HOUSTON, TX – A driver suffered injuries after a tractor-trailer he was driving crashed off an I-610 exit ramp early Friday morning.

According to ABC 13, the crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m., as the driver was merging from the westbound lanes of US-59 onto southbound I-610.

The driver to police the vehicle’s load shifted, causing him to lose control and crash through the guardrail. The truck then plummeted about 14 feet to the ground below.

The driver sustained only minor injuries in the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
