Driver fleeing police collides with pedestrian in Katy in early-morning crash

KATY, TX – A driver suspected of robbery collided with a pedestrian while attempting to escape from police in Katy early this morning, according to a tweet from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened at Kingsland at Cimarron and was reported by authorities at 2:23 a.m. as the driver of a dark sedan was fleeing from a police pursuit.
The driver then collided with a pedestrian and struck a curb.
Amazingly, no injuries have yet been reported.
Neither the driver nor the pedestrian has been identified by police.
