Driver facing DWI charges after crashing into HCSO sergeant on Interstate 10

HOUSTON, TX – A driver is facing DWI charges after crashing into a Harris County Sheriff’s Office sergeant on Interstate 10 yesterday morning.
Our Sergeant is in the hospital being checked out and thankfully he did not sustain any serious injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle has been arrested for suspicion of DWI.

The sergeant was hit at the intersection of Interstate near Highway 6 in the early hours of Sunday morning. Luckily, the sergeant was not seriously injured.
The driver has since been arrested for driving while intoxicated.
