Driver dies after two-vehicle accident in Houston’s Sharpstown

HOUSTON, TX — A man was killed early Thursday morning when his car was T-boned after running a red light in Houston’s Sharpstown area, reports KHOU11.
Authorities said the collision occurred on Fondren Road at Bellaire Boulevard, near St. Agnes Academy Athletic Complex, at about 2:15 a.m.
The man was behind the wheel of a Honda Accord when he failed to stop at a red light and was T-boned by a Dodge pickup truck at the intersection.
The driver of the Accord was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Responding officers said the driver of the Dodge remained after the crash and answered questions. He was not reported injured in the accident.
Authorities said no charges are expected at this time.
