Driver dead after crash on South Loop feeder rd near Holmes Rd

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed after her Mini Cooper overturned on the South Loop feeder road on Saturday night, according to information from KTRK.

The collision happened at about 9 p.m. on the South Loop feeder road near Holmes Road. A female driver lost control of her Mini Cooper, and then went off the side of the road.

She tried to get onto Holmes Rd, but lost control once more of her car. The Mini Cooper then went over the side of the service road and overturned.

The woman was partially ejected during the crash and was later pronounced dead.

No other victims were immediately reported.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
