HOUSTON, TX – A driver crashed into a residential home while escaping gunfire on Monday, Click2Houston reports.

The driver was reportedly at a gas station when the shooting broke out between two other vehicles near Airport and McClain Boulevards.  The unidentified driver fled the scene, eventually losing control of his car and crashing into the backyard of one home and the kitchen of another house.

Nobody inside any of the homes was hurt during the accident. One of the shooting suspects fled the scene after crashing his car in an unrelated incident, while another was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
